Cooked premiered on the ABC (Australia) in 2021, and we’re honoured to release it to our audience at Grouse House.

Director’s Statement (Jake Duczynski): Cooked…is told from a collective Indigenous perspective. It doesn’t care for Cook’s famous story, but instead the residual legacy of the crown in the form of a curse. Cooked holds the mirror up and forces us to look.

COOKED: Directed by Jake Duczynski Written by Jake Duczynski & James Hackett Featuring the voices of Steph Tisdell, Ross Noble, Megan Wilding, Hunter Page-Lochard, and Jake Duczynski.

‘Cooked’ is a Studio Gilay Production in association with Screen Australia, the Australian Broadcasting Network, and Create NSW.
